Note that silver fixings are much softer (more fragile and easier to bend) than their steel counterparts. They also have a lighter colour and smaller hook. Including two split rings, the stainless steel fixing has about a 23mm drop, whereas the silver fixing has about a 20mm drop – at the front. At the rear of the ear, the steel fixing extends lower and it is also wider from the front to the back of the ear. Both hooks can be adjusted (squeezed tighter) while on the ear if desired.
Please add as many of these upgrades as you need to the cart. If only some of your hooks are being upgraded, not all, please specify which ones in the comment section during checkout.
