This lightning bolt is about 50mm in length. The top part is curved for the fixing.
The front side is made from dark green kangaroo leather (so dark that it looks like black under soft lighting). The rear side is grey crazy horse leather (oiled cowhide).
These bolts are slightly cheaper than other long bolts because the surface of the green leather has a bit of an indentation – which isn’t noticeable unless you look up closely under strong light.
The tips of the bolts have been painted with leather glue to keep them as pointy as possible.
